Sadiq Khan MP, Labour’s Shadow Justice Secretary, commenting on the second defeat of the Government’s plans for a Secure College by the House of Lords said:

“This is a stunning defeat for the Government. Not a single expert voice could be found to speak up for their ill-thought through plans for a Secure College. It is a dangerous experiment in locking up children, and they should just consign it to the dustbin.”
