ommenting on City Link going into administration, Shadow Business Secretary Chuka Umunna MP said:

“The timing of this announcement is inexcusable. Our thoughts and sympathies are with the 2,727 staff at the firm - and their families - who found out on Christmas Day that City Link had gone into administration and that they could now face redundancy.

"We very much hope that a buyer for the business can be found and that as many jobs as possible can be saved.”
