David Cameron must urgently get a grip of huge backlog of Personal Independence Payment assessments - Kate Green

Kate Green MP, Labour’s Shadow Minister for Disabled People, commenting on Personal Independence Payment assessment figures, said:

“Today’s figures show 183,000 people are still stuck in the huge backlog for Personal Independence Payment assessments.

“Ministers have broken their promise that nobody would be waiting longer than 16 weeks for an assessment. David Cameron must urgently get a grip of the huge backlog of Personal Independence Payment assessments which is fast becoming another example of Tory Welfare Waste.”
