Lisa Nandy MP, Labour’s Shadow Cabinet Office Minister, commenting on the Liberal Democrat’s five priorities announced today, said:

“You can’t trust a word Nick Clegg’s Lib Dems say. Before the last election they campaigned against tuition fees and then joined the Tories in trebling them. They also promised fairer taxes, only to cut taxes for millionaires while working families pay more.

"After breaking their promises and backing David Cameron all the way, these latest pledges aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.”
