JonTrickett, Labour’s Shadow Minister without Portfolio, responding to reports that David Cameron has urged UKIP supporters to return “home” to the Tories, said: 

“Each day brings fresh evidence that UKIP and the Tories are preparing to work together.

“David Cameron telling UKIP supporters that the Tory Party is their “home” is the clearest sign yet that the parties are natural bedfellows.

“The latest defection is another humiliation for David Cameron who, having failed to shoot UKIP ’s fox, is now is relying on their support.

“Both parties offer increased NHS privatisation, further tax breaks for those at the top and extreme spending plans.

“Only Labour offers a better plan for a better future.” import
