Gordon Marsden MP, Labour’s Shadow Transport Minister, on airport retailers passing on VAT savings to customers, said:

“It’s simply unacceptable that some retailers are taking advantage of this relief and not passing the saving onto travellers. The Government needs to ensure that customers are being treated fairly so that it’s not just retailers who can benefit from the relief.”
