Ministers making big promises about homes in the future won’t wash any more - John Healey
John Healey MP, Labour’s Shadow Cabinet Minister for Housing, responding to the Government’s announcement on housing, said:
“Ministers making big promises about homes in the future won’t wash any more. People have seen five years of failure with Conservatives in charge of housing. Home ownership has fallen each and every year since 2010, private rents are soaring and councils have ever-fewer homes to offer. Britain’s housing crisis is getting worse, not better.”
