Hilary Benn MP, Labour’s Shadow Foreign Secretary said:

“Leaving the EU, which has brought with it jobs, investment, growth, security and influence, would be a step into the unknown and would send a message that Britain was turning its back on its neighbours.

“If we are going to deal with the problems our world faces and secure our economic future, the best way to do that is through cooperation and not separation.”
