Jonathan Ashworth MP, Labour’s Shadow Minister without Portfolio, responding to reports of a dossier allegedly handed to Lord Feldman in 2010, said:
“Lord Feldman has denied time and again that he knew about accusations of bullying and blackmail at the heart of the Conservative Party before August this year.
“These new allegations again suggest that he and others right at the top of the Conservative Party knew as early as 2010 about accusations of a culture of intimidation at the heart of the Tory Party but did nothing to prevent it. That is very worrying.
“Grant Shapp’s resignation cannot be used to draw a line under this - Lord Feldman, the man charged by David Cameron to run the Conservative Party, still has very big questions to answer.”
