Lisa Nandy MP, Labour’s Shadow Energy and Climate Change Secretary, responding to comments from the Head of Ofgem that the big energy companies are overcharging their customers, said:

“It’s glaringly obvious that too many families are still being ripped off by big energy companies who are prepared to chase profits at any cost to their customers. The excuses for inaction must now end.

“We need bold and decisive changes to our energy market to stop people from being fleeced any longer.”
