Seema Malhotra MP, Labour’s Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury, commenting on the so-called ‘Tampon Tax’, said:

“It is welcome news that the cross-party campaign to scrap VAT on tampons appears to be on the verge of victory after David Cameron heeded Labour’s call to secure support of other EU states.
