Gloria De Piero MP, Labour’s Shadow Minister for Voter Registration, commenting on the final day before the new voter registration deadline, said:

“Labour have given their full support to the Government’s changes to the law today, and are delighted they listened to our call to extend the deadline for voter registration.

“In the final few hours, every last person who is not on the register should sign up.

“It only takes three minutes, and could avoid a lifetime of regret about a life-changing decision you didn’t take part in.”
