Gloria De Piero MP, Labour’s Shadow Minister for Voter Registration, commenting on the news an extra two million people have been added to the electoral register said:

“It’s fantastic to see an extra two million people have been added to the electoral register since December 2015. It shows the significance of this vote and that so many people know the impact it will have on their everyday lives. We hope they will all get out on Thursday and vote remain for jobs, rights at work and our NHS.”

“These new figures prove that we were right to draw attention to the failings of the Tories’ rush to IER and how it might distort the Boundary Review Process”.
