“As David Cameron prepares to leave Downing Street we wish him and his family well.

“But we must also acknowledge that despite all his promises he leaves the country in a state of insecurity and huge economic uncertainty.

“Theresa May will inherit a Government that remains committed to a failed and unfair policy agenda and which has refused to stand up for working people. Her record is the same as the Tories’ failed record and the country deserves better.”
