Rebecca Long Bailey MP, Labour’s Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury, commenting on the 150 jobs cut at Concentrix in Belfast, said:

“First we discovered Concentrix has been unfairly targeting hard working people by wrongly stopping tax credits, causing severe distress and anxiety.

“Now we learn that 150 members of staff are going to lose their jobs as a result of the company’s own failures. 

“It is reported that staff only found out about these job losses through social media which is totally unacceptable.

“The Government needs to stop attempting to privatise our public services at the expense of hard working people”
