This is yet another example of the Tory Government using “creative accounting” to conceal a broken promise - Bill Esterson
Bill Esterson MP, Labour’s Shadow Minister for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, commenting on news that Tory Ministers have been criticised as plastic bag charge used to calculate red tape cost cuts, said:
“This is yet another example of the Tory Government using “creative accounting” to conceal a broken promise. In the climate of uncertainty created by Brexit, our economy needs a frank assessment of the challenges confronting business and an honest commitment to addressing them.
“Labour’s New Deal offers business a new approach to working together to transform Britain’s economy.”
