Emma Lewell-Buck MP, Labour’s Shadow Education Minister for Children and Families, commenting on a report from the Public Accounts Committee, said:

“This report from the Public Accounts Committee confirms that the Tories are not delivering for vulnerable children.

"Only weeks after the National Audit Office said that there were systemic challenges facing our children’s services, the Public Accounts Committee have told us that government failure is leaving children at risk of harm. 

"This is simply not good enough, and we are calling on the Government to do everything necessary to protect vulnerable children across Britain.”
