Yvette Cooper, Shadow Home Secretary and Minister for Women & Equalities, said today:

”Under this Government, we have a cost of living crisis that is hitting
women hardest - yet David Cameron and Nick Clegg don’t even seem to notice
or care.

“So its little wonder women are fed up with this Government.

"Changes to maternity pay, child benefit and pensions have all hit women
harder. Bills and prices keep going up, while the money in their pocket
keeps going down. Independent research shows George Osborne’s policies are
hitting women three times as hard as men.

"We know David Cameron has a problem with women - a real blind spot about
women’s lives. These figures show women are fed up with how out of touch
the Government is with their lives.”
