King's Fund Quarterly report: Large parts of NHS losing their grip on finances and waiting times - Andy Burnham

Andy Burnham MP, Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary, commenting in the King’s
Fund quarterly report, said:

“David Cameron’s re-organisation has placed the NHS in the danger zone and
the alarm bells are getting louder by the day. This survey makes clear that
large parts of the NHS are losing their grip on finances and waiting times.

“The NHS lost focus on the financial challenge when David Cameron turned it
upside down in the biggest re-organisation in its 65 year history. There
have been three lost years of drift in the NHS and patients are now paying
the price. This report confirms Labour’s warning that recent months have
been the worst in a decade in A&E - a warning sign of an NHS that has been
brought to the brink.

“This is further proof you can’t trust the Tories with the NHS.”
