Cathy Jamieson MP, Labour’s Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury, commenting on new Which? research revealing the best and worst financial companies for customer satisfaction, said: “With families facing a cost-of-living crisis it’s important now more than ever that they get a decent service from their bank. But this research shows that the job of reforming our banking system is far from done. “The new current account switching service will help drive competition but this out-of-touch Government has failed to push forward a number of reforms that would create a system providing customers with real value for money. “We mustn’t waste this once in a lifetime opportunity and that’s why we’re calling on the Government to support the changes Labour has put forward in parliament to improve the culture and standards of banks in the UK.”
