Mary Creagh MP, Labour’s Shadow Transport Secretary, responding to the Transport Select Committee’s report on local authority parking enforcement, said:

“When motorists are struggling with David Cameron’s cost of living crisis, out of touch ministers are looking at hiking parking fines.

“This is a serious report that demands a serious response from Ministers who should stop thinking up new ways to hit hard pressed motorists in the pocket.”
