Jamie Reed MP, Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary, responding to the Care Quality Commission’s report into failings at GP practices, said:

“Nobody expects this poor level of care when visiting their family doctor. Patients at these surgeries are being badly let down.

“David Cameron is putting millions less into GP services than at the time of the election – people are paying the price for his broken promises on NHS spending.

“It is more proof that you can’t trust the Tories on the NHS.”
