We all owe a debt of gratitude to engineers working to reconnect power supplies and deal with the flooding - Tom Greatrex
Tom Greatrex MP, Labour’s Shadow Energy Minister, commenting on the power cuts that have affected thousands of households in Britain over Christmas, said:
“We all owe a debt of gratitude to the engineers who have been out over Christmas working to reconnect people’s power supplies and deal with the flooding. However with thousands of people still without electricity, it is vital that power is restored to all remaining homes as soon as possible. Ministers will have serious questions to answer if households have to wait until the end of the week, or later, until their power is reconnected.”
