Mary Creagh MP, Labour’s Shadow Transport Secretary, responding to a report that George Osborne has refused to give Boris Johnson extra funding to meet his transport fare increase changes, said:

“This political one-upmanship between the Tory Mayor of London and the Tory Chancellor has led to a £20 million black hole in the TfL budget. Ultimately, London commuters will end up footing the bill for this incompetence.”
