Kevin Brennan MP Labour’s Shadow Schools Minister, responding to the news that Ofsted has judged another Free School as ‘inadequate’, said 

“The sad truth is that David Cameron’s flagship Free Schools programme is letting down children and damaging school standards.

“Allowing unqualified teachers and refusing to have a system of proper local oversight is leading to more damning Ofsted judgements.

“We need a system that spots underperformance in schools before it sets in. David Cameron’s refusal to take action means that the education of children in this country will suffer.”
