Michael Dugher MP, Labour’s Shadow Minister for the Cabinet Office, responding to David Cameron’s interview on the Andrew Marr show, said:

“David Cameron still doesn’t get it. Families in Britain are facing a massive cost-of-living crisis, yet all Cameron offers is more reheated and vacuous banging on about Europe.

"Hardworking people are £1,600 a year worse off than they were in 2010, but this out of touch Prime Minister has absolutely nothing to say about it. It’s another case of in denial about cost-of-living and in fear of UKIP.

"The Tories offer no answers to the big challenges facing the country. With every day the choice is clearer: only with Labour will Britain be better off."​
