Response to Shelter’s report on eviction and repossession - Emma Reynolds
Emma Reynolds MP, Labour’s Shadow Housing Minister, responding to Shelter’s report on eviction and repossession, said:
“These figures show just how many households and families are struggling with their finances and at risk of losing their home.
“While the Tories try to deny it even exists, a Labour Government would address the cost-of-living crisis by getting 200,000 homes built a year, implementing longer-term tenancies with predictable rents in the private rented sector, acting to freeze energy prices, help more employers to pay a living wage, and expand free childcare to help more parents earn a living for their family.”
