Ken Clarke has finally admitted what the rest of the Cabinet try to deny - Catherine McKinnell
Catherine McKinnell MP, Labour’s Shadow Treasury Minister, responding to comments by Ken Clarke this evening that many “have not yet felt any sense of recovery”, said:
“Ken Clarke has finally admitted what the rest of the Cabinet try to deny.
“Most working people are not feeling any recovery, yet David Cameron and George Osborne claim the economy is fixed and there’s no cost-of-living crisis.
“Labour would act to deal with the cost-of-living crisis and earn our way to higher living standards for the many, not just a few at the top.”
