Over 20,000 students made complaints to their universities- Response from Liam Byrne
Liam Byrne MP, Labour’s Shadow Minister for Universities, Science and Skills, commenting on new statistics showing over 20,000 students made complaints to their universities last year, said:
“The Tory-led government has tripled tuition fees, creating a black hole in the student finances and saddled taxpayers with the bill as the system could cost more than the one it replaced.
“As the IFS has recently highlighted, the government’s failure has created huge uncertainty for universities and students alike as they look to plan ahead. Ministers urgently need to get a grip.”
