The next 24 hours represent a key test for Cameron and his ability to deliver for Britain in Europe - Alexander
Douglas Alexander MP, Shadow Foreign Secretary, said:
“The next 24 hours represent a key test for David Cameron and his ability to deliver for Britain in Europe.
“Sadly, so far David Cameron’s handling of these negotiations has turned a European Council divided over Jean-Claude Juncker, into a Europe apparently united against David Cameron.
“There are still many countries across Europe who are keen and committed to seeing necessary and important changes across Europe.
“The Prime Minister has made some serious errors in these negotiations, so he now needs to use the final hours before the summit to make up lost ground to deliver a President of the Commission who will make Europe work better for Britain.”
