Response to 'Passenger Transport in Isolated Communities'- Creagh
Mary Creagh MP Labour’s Shadow Transport Secretary, responding to the Transport Select Committee’s report Passenger Transport in Isolated Communities, said:
“Under the Tories, bus fares are up, passenger numbers are down and communities have been left isolated. Older, younger, disabled and unemployed people in particular have borne the brunt of this unfair Government.
“Only Labour will give transport authorities the powers they need to get people back on the bus.”
