A Labour Party spokesperson, commenting on further Tory infighting in the wake of Sayeeda Warsi’s resignation from the Government, said:

“Another day, another episode of Tory infighting. The Tories can’t focus on the big challenges facing the country because they’re looking inwards with David Cameron desperately trying to shore up his own position.

“The Choice at the next election is becoming ever clearer: a Tory party that has now abandoned governing the country in favour of constant fighting with each other, or a Labour government setting out a real programme for the future.”
